Five numbers
and how they would be measured

A system that cannot be measured is a demo. These five are the ones the concept has to survive. The figures below are illustrative, the definitions are the real content.

What would make these numbers dishonest

Counting alerts opened instead of alerts rated. An opened alert proves nothing. Only a rating, given after the fact, does.
Counting meetings attended as meetings replaced. Attending costs the same either way. Replaced means the calendar entry is gone.
Averaging the adoption rate. Three divisions fully in and one out is not 75 percent of a working system, it is a blind spot with a number on it.
Measuring only the signals that escalated. The ones the council held back still have to be counted, or the precision figure is self-selected.

One line summary

If only one number survives

Time from signal to awareness. If a conflict reaches David in hours rather than weeks, the rest of the design has a chance. If it does not, nothing else matters.
